The American Association of Orthodontists recommends an orthodontic screening by the age of 7. This initial visit allows us to evaluate your orthodontic condition and needs.

Treatment time varies with each patient’s individual case. The range is 12-30 months, with an average of 22 months.

Yes. Treatment fees are based on the patient’s orthodontic needs. We offer a variety of interest-free payment plans. If you have orthodontic coverage, we will submit all claims directly to your insurance company.

There are many reasons. Usually it starts with a desire to straighten your teeth and make your smile more beautiful. During your consultation, we will evaluate your bite and the position of your teeth and access how you can benefit from orthodontic treatment.

When your braces are first placed on your teeth, it is common to experience some soreness and discomfort that can last for a few days. In these situations, pain medications such as Advil or Tylenol will ease the discomfort. After most adjustment visits, patients will not longer feel any soreness!

Yes. Avoid foods that are HARD, STICKY or SWEET. Once treatment begins, we will provide a comprehensive list of foods to avoid.

You can play sports while wearing braces. We recommend you wear a mouth guard for all contact sports.

Retainers are mostly used as the last phase of orthodontic treatment. After your braces have been removed or your Invisalign treatment is complete, teeth can shift back to their original position. Retainers are used to hold your teeth straight and are either bonded behind your teeth or completely removable.
